Report from Robert Boerman

This formation was reported at 31-07-2002 by news agency Roel Toering. This formation was discovered almost a week ago but was not reported before

Yesterday we visited the Stadskanaal 'Heart' formation and we thought we had a day off, when Roel Toering called us by phone. 'We have another formation over here', were his words, and I thought: 'Oh no, not again to Stadskanaal', but after we heard Roel's discription of the formation, we thought that this formation was something special. The next day, Jan Willem Bobbink and myself went to Veenhuizen for some research.

Once we arived at the field, we met Joop Tervoort. Joop gave us some aerial photo's which we could use for the website. These photo's shows us that this formation was a unusual Dutch formation, the same as the 'Heart' formation near Stadskanaal. It looks if the phenomenon is going to create more complexer formation in Holland as the years before.

There are no special details except that we found the same anomaly as we found in Groote Keeten (the bend and twisted sead heads). But because of the enormous time presure, the samples are lost in between the rest of the samples which we collocted this year. .
