This formation was reported to Omroep Drenthe (local radio station Drenthe) and Elbert Westerbeek reported it to the PTAH FOundation. The owner of the field does not want anyone to enter the field, but we were allowed to do some research. The owner told us that his brother has found a board with a rubber in a ditch near the field.
The results of the research at 28-08-2004 is:
- The formation is approx. 2 to 3 weeks old
- The formation contains no leylines
- The Bovis value of the formation was the same as in the rest of the field: 5900 Bovis
- We did not find any biofysical anomalies
Based on these points and the board with a rubber, we suspect that this formation is man made...

- Diameter circle 3: 5.40/5.80 metre
- Diameter circle 4: 5.50/5.60 metre
- Diameter circle 5: 5.40/5.50 metre
